What Is The Process To Have Video Work Done For Your Business?

Initial Consultation

First things first we are going to need to have a meeting with you either on the phone or preferably a Zoom meeting. On Zoom, we can meet each other and both of us can share screens. Meaning, if there are specifics they can be seen visually. If the meeting is successful the next port of call will be to create a video script or scripts. 

By the end of the consultation or a short time after that. You should be well informed on what production is best for you. 

What Is Involved In Good Script Writing For Short Videos.

As part of your package we include script writing. We have years of experience in this part of the process. The idea of a good script will depend on what you are wanting to achieve in your production. For example, explaining processes, pain points and the strengths of what you can offer is the key to a good script. The whole production is based around the script. Just the same as a movie production. 

How Many Words Are In The Script?

The number of words in a 30-second video script can vary depending on the pace of speech and the content being delivered. On average, a person speaking at a moderate pace in English (UK or US) would typically speak around 90-120 words per minute. 

Therefore, for a 30-second video script, you can estimate it to be approximately 45-70 words. However, keep in mind that this is just a rough estimate, and the actual word count may vary depending on the specific circumstances and the intended delivery style.

Our Standard Work Is From 30 Seconds Up To One Minute?

In general our work is 30 seconds to one minute depending on what is agreed upon. Saying that we have written custom scripts for much longer. Again, in this instance, depending on which production you choose will depend on how many words the script is and what time period it goes for. 

Note – If you are interested in a custom video with live footage this will be discussed in our meeting. Live videos in most cases will work out to be longer productions and therefore have longer scripts. 

Scripts Must Be Approved By You The Client

Importantly, once the script has been written this must be approved by the person in charge or our point of contact. The script will be emailed and a reply must be made letting B2V know that the script has been approved. 

What Do I Need To Know About The Voice Over?

Once the script is approved we can start to build the production. The voice over is the next step and yes, the voice over is included in the package. We have a range of voice over artists we work with and our inhouse voice over man ( Ricky) is a great choice as he has an international voice that suits nearly all situations.

Saying that some voice overs may require specific accents or countries. In this case all you need to do is let us know what accent will work well in your opinion. Additionally, we will help in the process. To be honest, there are many voices to choose from in this day and age.

Please note- Green Screen video will have the actor doing the voice over.

How Do We Go About Building Video Production?

Depending on the style of video we have agreed upon will depend on what action is taken next. 

Green Screen 

Green Screen videos are simple and a digital background needs to be chosen. The actor will simply execute the script and deliver the production inhouse.

Explainer Video 

If we have decided on doing an Explainer Video. Any images that need to be submitted will need to be. After that point the production will be put into gear by our team. 

White Board

This type of production works in the same way as an Explainer Video.

Testimonial

Testimonial videos are usually green screen videos or live video footage taken from an actor or real person that has used your services. 

Custom Promotional 

These types of productions can vary. However, the basic principle is to work around the script and voice over using video editing software. Custom videos use live footage that is needed to be supplied to our team to conduct the work. The 

How Long Does The Whole Process Take?

All productions other than custom promotional videos take around 7 working days to complete. Most of the time you will receive the production ahead of schedule.
